This guy is AWESOME!! I wish I could hear him play his trumpet live.....

btw if you've never seen a good jazz trumpeter in action, or any great trumpeter at all, they're really amazing, considering their range and technique. Back in college, we had a Jazz trumpet player who was like our advisor and he played the SSB and a few other songs a couple of times. The range and the high notes that he hit brought the crowd to its feet, and we rarely do that ever...

Almost makes me wish I had taken up the trumpet...instead of the flute

I saw Sandoval in Bermuda during their jazz festival. I was standing about 20 feet from the stage, right in front of him. I could actually feel my hair blowing back when he played.
