I liked the one with the ref gettin bitched at by the coach, and then at home getting bitched at by the wife.

I liked the Subway one! That imo was the funniest one this year.

i thought the commercials this year were horrible. they weren't even mildly funny.

the (very unimpressive) "highlights":
- the jimi hendrix pepsi spot
- the bud light ad with the dog
- the shardsoglass spot was kinda funny, but SO predictable

i can't honestly remember any other ones that made me laugh

i didn't see this one either. i'm thinking these must have been local/regional spots (the local spots we got in NYC sucked big-time. same lame ads the run all the time)

Was it a red 4x4 (Tacoma or some such) that gets rolled down a cliff while the girl says like "you like your precious truck more than me!" And when it gets to the bottom, he starts it up just fine?

If so...this one has been going around the internet for a while-good commercial.

yeah...tis it would be that one.

It was the first time I've seen it.

in regards to the aol ones...

THEY SUCKED! I used to like the OCC. Now since they've degraded themselves to doing aol stuff...I'm never watching them again!

The donkey's aspiration to be a Budweiser Clydesdale was enjoyable.

yeah, i totally forgot to mention the budweiser "lipstick" one, which the more i think about it was probably the funniest one in the whole line up, in large part because it surprised you (thinking it was going to be a cheesy car commercial)

I think my favorite was the car commercial with the kids who were getting their mouths washed out with soap . . . .

Either that, or I suppose the Budweiser donkey . . .

thats the "Cool! A rocket cart!" commercial, right? That one was so good because it was so wrong.

side note: i started watching the game with 13 minutes left in the 1st quarter, so i missed out on the Natn'l Anthem, the coin toss, and the kickoff. did i miss anything good?

The Simpsons Mastercard commercial had its moments. The Budweiser: Yelling Like a Ref was pretty good too.

here's a link to all of the ones that aired:

THe Budweiser ones ruled. But I am sure lots of companies pulled out because this was suppose to be the worst superbowl in history. If the fans say that, then the companies may just pull ou tand say screw it I'm not wasting money.

I liked the Car on the football field, the mule, horse fart, basically the bud ones.
