late review of The Passion

i don't give it a 10. i felt annoyed sitting through this movie. i realize it was the best portrayal of the last hours of Jesus' life to date, but i just had a feeling of helplessness throughout the whole thing. i know this is what Jesus' was called upon for, but the good samaritan in me about 3/4 of the way through it just wanted it to end....i knew how it was gonna end.

i guess it didn't move me spirtually. it angered me and made me wonder how many innocent people have we put to death in this country? have we also killed Jesus?

It amazed me of the determination which Jesus had to willingly go to the cross in spite of all of the obstacles which were presented to him during those final days.

And it showed the utter wickedness of man in using him as a scapegoat instead of examining their own hearts and deceitful ways.

It shows how much God is "proactive" in redeeming mankind and how he always takes the first step in going after his lost sheep.

I'd want David Lynch on that one.
