NBA Most Valuable Player
Who will be the NBA regular season MVP?
1. Kevin Garnett 2. Tim Duncan 3. Shaquille O'Neal 4. Jermaine O'Neal 5. Other If you vote for other, please state who and why? BTW I'm voting for KG. His overall game is great and he makes his teammates better. His team could very well end up winning the Western Conference.

i voted for other: two words for you....mad-dawg madsen!
i still can't believe lakers let him go... as much as i'm a lakers fan, i voted for KG. he's really carried his team. he's also a very unselfish player that can do everything, but still involves his teammates. here's a good article about KG besides, his fantasy scores are off the wall! |

i voted for shaq for obvious reasons
but also he great lifting the teams when he rebound, and a terror in the box, there's not alot of player that would drive when shaq's in there |

If Duncan hadn't gotten injured, I might've voted for him. However, he did. KG has played at a high level in almost if not every game this season (has he even missed one game this season?) I'm a big Duncan fan, but this year, KG did the better job. Jermaine O'neal I don't think is good enough and Shaq. missed a bunch of games and did badly in some of them. Shaq isn't playing up to his level.

oh man, in my mind, there's no competition. KG hands down...
was kinda surprised that the one vote for shaq didn't come from jel ![]() but i don't think he's even second in running; kobe was more MVP caliber than shaq for the lakers this year...

i agree with the consensus here -- night in and night out, KG has been the best player in the NBA.
duncan has been good, but limited by his knee injury for a couple months. shaq, while good, hasn't been dominating. as for j.o'neal, i think that to be named MVP while playing in the east, one needs to COMPLETELY dominate, because you're playing a majority of your games against weaker competition. o'neal isn't playing at close to that level, imo. |

kg, im really glad his team has come together and is starting to roll over teams. sure, they got sprewell over the off season to help them out, but duncan [who i almost picked] has parker and ginobili to feed him the ball. last of all, im glad that after all these years of not getting past the 1st round, kg has stuck with the wolves up in an area of the nation where bball isnt a top priority sportswise.

KG far and away. I think he started working toward it with the playoff series last year. The guy was phenomenal. And this year, he's shown he can turn it on when he needs to, but defer to teammates to make sure the team wins. He's improved by leaps and bounds.

Garnett. Stats are ridiculous, team's got a chance to take the #1 spot, he has an insane number of double-doubles, he leads his team, he fills the seats, he's as consistent as Duncan and as exciting as the And1 Mix Tape team (well, almost). It's been The Kid's year. Big Ticket should take the MVP. Garnett for president
