Greek Theatre in LA

Has anyone been there? I want to take my girlfriend there for a concert in July. Is it a good venue?

The Greek Theatre is a great venue for shows. It's located in Griffith Park and no seat in the house is a bad seat, unless you're one of those who has to be able to see the shoelaces of the person performing. I have been there on numerous occasions and have sat on the sides, in the middle and near the back and enjoyed every second of it. I love the Greek!

The Greek Theatre is a great venue. It's smaller and more personal. Again, there is no bad seat there.

Hopefully if I can get tickets, we'll see Diana Krall. She is a great Jazz artist who is married to Elvis Costello.

On another note has anyone ever been to Catalina Bar and Grill? This is another jazz artist playing there that I might want to see.

Norah Jones is playing in SoCal this summer as well. I think she'll be at the Greek. Never been to Catalina B&G but I have heard about it.
