Dodgeball . . . Funny As All Hell . . .

So, I just caught a screening of Dodgeball . . .

F'n Funny . . . exactly what you would expect it to be . . . Of course, it relies upon a ton of dodgeball shots to the face and balls . . . but hell . . . that's funny!! Also, a bunch of other "ball" references . . . but hell . . . it's funny and what do you expect??

It's a damn funny movie . . . if it's your type of thing, you will not be disappointed . . .

Personally, I found it funnier than Old School . . . but that may be a bit biased because I have always loved the sport of dodgeball and was never a fan of frats . . .

i've said it before, and i'll say it again:

there will never be another Zoolander, no matter how hard ben stiller and co. (the wilson brothers, will ferrell, jerry stiller, vince vaughn, etc) try to top it.

that said, i'm not getting my hopes up about Dodgeball (Starsky and Hutch was terrible!), but i'll probably still watch it.

I saw DodgeBall today... i liked it a lot!

Definitely worth a matinee viewing.

I thought it could have been a little better in some parts, but I loved the cameos at the end

Speaking of Dodgeball... has anyone seen that "Extreme Dodgeball" on Game Show Network?

I caught it the other day and honestly, it was funny as hell... I woulda thought something like that would end up next to "Slamball" on Spike rather than GSN.

hmmm... that's a bold statement...

and dank, i dunno, maybe it's just a matter of opinion, but i didn't think starsky and hutch was very funny at all. there were some parts that made me laugh, but not a whole lot, and to be quite honest, i actually got bored partway through it. i even almost walked out of it because i thought it was so bad.

but perhaps i'm in the minority with that...

Nice cameos too. Hank Azaria, David Hasslehoff, Chuck Norris, Lance Armstrong off the top of my head. All good stuff.

Vince Vaughn to Christine Taylor: what was it, "put your mouth where our balls are"? (or vice-versa?). Whatever it was, funny.

It was a really fun movie to go and watch! I really also like the cameos... I thought it was especially funny when David Hasslehoff came on!

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.

absolutely hilarious movie. i saw it tonight with some friends, and we laughed most of the way through it. it's so over-the-top, so shameless in going for the cheap laugh that it becomes like a parody.

the lance armstrong cameo perfect, and the david hasselhoff thing cracked me up. good stuff.
