It was pretty much decided in the finals. He didn't show and now noone would give 5+million for what he did last season. Even though he did carry the Show for a stretch.

Payton and O'Neal sans Bryant would work better than the currently projected situation (Payton and Kobe without Shaq)... both guards want the ball in their hands. Throw in the fact that Gray has lost a step recently, and the Glove does not fit.
