Help!
There's a scene in an episode of Family Guy where there's one brain cell left, and he is surrounded by thousands of books. Right before he's able to start reading, he drops his glasses and steps on them accidently, and says, "No.... no, it can't be! It's just not fair!" Which episode is it in! Is anyone a Family Guy nut that knows this?

Oh crap! I know the exact scene you're talking about....
I can't think of which one it was from, though. Something about beer destroying his brain cells? Maybe the one where he goes to Pawtucket Pat's? |

The one where Lois learns Peter plays the piano very well, but only when he's hammered ("Wasted Talent" is the name of the episode). So at the end Lois is worried she may have gone too far, forcing him to drink so much, but Peter is saying something like "Don't worry Lois, you got your trophy and I've got plenty of brain cells left" - cut to his brain and the one cell left. Sincerely, Mr. Family Guy Nut

See! I was so close. I knew it was something about excessive beer drinking.

I just know it's related to a Twilight Zone episode.

He means the brain cell scene was "inspired by" an episode of the Twilight Zone (which is true). |

Hey while we're on the topic, I've been trying to find this other episode for a while.
At some point in it, Brian says something like "I know a thing or two about bad ideas," and it flashes it a bar where he's telling OJ that his girl is messing around on him and if he was in OJs Bruno Maglis, he wouldn't take it. Anyone know which one this is?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's Stewie that says that. It's from Season 3, but I can't recall which episode.

I never knew why that scene made it but this one didn't: ftp://ftp.quahog5news.com/pub/forbidden/jfk.mpg (1.6mb) Taken from here: http://www.familyguyfiles.com/episodes/forbidden.php (They have other clips too.) EDIT: I guess they took those clips down. I'll have to see if I still have them at home. They're pretty evil. Edit: I found 'em: http://www.quahog5news.com/cgi-bin/c...bidden/jfk.mpg taken from here: http://www.quahog5news.com/subpages....deos&cat=other

I figured the Osama thing would never make the DVD cut. Sorta like when they play Biggie on the radio now, they have to edit out the part where he says "Time to get paid/blow up like the World Trade".
I could've sworn the JFK thing was still in the DVD, though. Hmmmm. Maybe I'm so used to watching the .mpeg copies I've had since years ago, I just got the two confused. |

That site was saying it wasn't on the DVD, though. And like I said, I thought I remembered seeing it.

It is Stewie. And it is from the 3rd season. It's from the one where Peter finds out he has black ancestors (Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother?). Stewie's talking to the cheerleaders at school (trying to find out their mind control techniques) and one of them is considering letting a boy get to 2nd base and Stewie says it's a bad idea...hilarity ensues. ![]() |
