Now you owe Jel some royalty money for using his catchphrase and trademark smilie.

My stupid Hurricanes lost.

I don't see how, either. They had an awesome team. Just didn't want it bad enough, I guess.

Well, they got spanked early on in the Fullerton game, and the Titans held on long enough to keep any sort rally from being feasible. The closest that the 'canes got was when they put up a sacrifice bunt, and got the tying run onto second base. But the inning was over on the next play, so the game was pretty much done after that.

I didn't watch it, but just looking at how South Carolina scored, it's sad how the #1 team got pounded.

I'm looking forward to seeing South Carolina lose again. Then it'll either be Texas or Georgia.

Hahahaha. I'm gonna end up getting flamed for this, I know. But oh well, if only to see my school get another championship, it'd be worth it.

Yes! Fullerton just shut out South Carolina again! I mean, it's not cool that they lost last night, but they more than made up for it today.

On to Saturday, where I hope the Texans won't be happy in Omaha. Best of three. I'm hoping for a sweep, but we'll see.

Haha, edited out a typo.

I cant stand college baseball. I'm pretty fanatical about the rest of baseball but the sound of aluminum bats bothers me.

Dude, I'm no fan of the ping either, but it makes for a generally better game. These aren't major league folks, so it's good to see something make them better.

The bats are dangerous and it teaches pitchers the wrong way to pitch.

That was a pretty damn good game. Congrats CSF and ShawnLee. Aluminum bats still need to go though. Perhaps when a pitcher is killed by a line drive back to his melon because he can't physically react in time they will change the rules. I hope it doens't happen, but that might be what it takes since nobody apparently is paying attention to the studies done.

Baseballs coming off an aluminum bat are like missiles. The major leagues should just subsidize the use of aluminum bats in college. Imagine all the money they would save by not wasting bonus money on college kids who are products of aluminum bats.
