Fahrenheit 9/11

I went and saw it last night, what are your thoughts?

I was kind of hoping for a semi balance report showing the other side on some of their topics. The biggest thing to remember is that this is all just Moore's personal opinion. The movie also tries to plague too much on emotion as well at times. Overall it is defiantly to the left, but do encourage you to go see it, just for the change of scenery/opinion.

I value Maddox's opinion more than I value Michael Moore's, and Maddox doesn't even get paid

I just saw it. It was quite amazing. If you don't want to pay Moore, buy a ticket for White Chicks and walk into 9/11. You are doing yourself a disservice by sticking your head in the sand.

From the interview I saw on NBC (with Matt Louwer(sp))-this is more of a propaganda piece than a documentary. Moore said that he made it to "get back at the Bush administration."

Pass.

Better than where Michael Moore has his head stuck up.

Keep in mind this is more of moore's opinion, this is not your standard up and down documentary. I think no matter what side you are on you need to watch it. Not all of it is major left wing stuff. He proved a superb point about the patriot act.

Is there a Vegas line on "If this movie goes #1 its first week, Michael Eisner craps himself and then cries like a little girl"? If so, I want to bet the farm on that.

Bires, are you unaware that Eisner passed on this movie? Or were you just disgusted by my comments?

Moore admitted that this movie is extremely biased and totally his own opinion on an interview I watched yesterday. I'm just glad he's open to say that instead of being so stubborn not to admit it.

I feel like I've already seen 50% of it just from watching the evening news. I don't need to see anymore of that bias fatso.

I find it interesting how no one has any problem going to see a movie about americas army/navy/etc fighting against impossible forces to come out on top because we're such good people and yet they have serious problems watching a movie about some guys reflection on our own countrys flaws. You can't tell me with a straight face that the former is not propaganda or even unbiased or productive.

At least America's army blowing stuff up is entertaining... I don't think these movies are about us comming out on top because we are such good people, its because we have bigger guns, and bader badasses.

Do you have relatives fighting in the armed forces?

Read this:

I refuse to see a movie that Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, is interested in distributing.
http://film.guardian.co.uk/news/stor...240819,00.html

The movie has only been out for a few days so far, and look at all of the inaccuracies:

This page was linked from his website. I guess the movie has no facts!

By your standards ribitch, you should also refuse to see any movies produced and backed by the US considering all the "terrorist"-like things we've done.

You are comparing fiction to a documentary.

I'm not interested in documentary especially the ones made my Moore.

I personally dislike Documentaries as well. I have zero desire to watch a couple hours of one man's personal vendetta against another man's. Super-size Me is probably the closest I'll come to seeing a documentary, but I haven't taken any initiative to go see it yet.

Moore brought up a lot of good points in the movie. YET with this extremist left wing shanagans...he put a biatch load of things out of context! in that respect, I'm totally pissed off! Congrats to him for trying to make a statement, but make the facts right instead of bending the truth to persuade people to believe what they are watching! moreoever, moore needs to go fvcking join senate or the House to try and make a difference, not make a movie to all out biatch about our GREAT government! Beucase we ALL know that our government is an exact science, and nothing can go wrong! After the movie, I heard so many people saying, "I'm glad that someone says it how our goverenment really is." I WAS SO FVCKING PISSED WHEN THEY SAID THAT, becuase thats NOT how are governmetn really is, moore just MADE it appear thats how it really is.
