I sure hope so. Maybe we've turned a corner. It was nice to see folks hitting j's...nice victory, especially considering Duncan's two quick fouls in the first.

What was the beef between Brown and the Spanish coach after the game???

Brown called a timeout with 23 secsonds to go and they're up by 11. THat's kinda insulting to the other team. The spanishg coach was proably just frustrated too.

It's about time they learned to shoot, and to beat the zone. Hopefully they keep it up. They still let Spain put up a lot of points. That's a bit dangerous.

No surprise they let Spain score a lot; their defense allows like 20 more ppg than the previous teams.

This win will boost their confidences in their jump shots thus helping tomorrow game against Argentina.

Their D still needs some work though.

Larry Brown said that he tried to wave the timeout off but it didn't happen. $hit happened and the Spanish coach just got mad because they lost. He said that the game is officiated as an NBA game not FIBA game, i.e. fouls favor the US stars. How can that be if the US was called for more fouls?

Some will say Spain was the biggest roadblock in the US's way to the gold... so maybe the worst is behind them. Somehow, I still hope this team loses. Jim Rome says that next time they shouldn't send better players--they should send a better team. How about both? Man. What an embarrassment.
