Best Comedians
In your opinion who are the funniest comedians? Either live, recorded, or on TV. I'm curious.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. The funniest album I have ever heard is by Robbin Harris. Hilarious.
Current comics: Louis CK, Pablo Francisco, Carlos Mencia, Nick Swardson.

Chris Rock (though his most recent special was weak), Dave Chapelle (Killing em softly was classic), and Jon Stewart (Unleavened...almost 10 years old and still hilarious).

I saw Carlos Mencia last weekend at the local comedy club - a great show, and a great comedian.
I also agree with old-school Richard Pryor and George Carlin. The thing is, I don't care for Carlin that much now. He used to be intelligent and funny, and he made you think back in the day. Now he's just a ranting, raving old man. Let's not forget the late Bill Hicks. One in a million talent. My friend Julie Scoggins is an up and coming comic - very funny and talented. I also like Tim Wilson. Highly underrated southern boy...

Richard Pryor, Bernie Mac, Mitch Hedburg, Pablo Francisco, Eddie Izzard are some funny funny stand up comedians.
Currently my favorite on TV is Ali G, he's amazingly hilarious. |

As far as most White comedians.... well... I guess I just don't dig most of their humor (although The Cable Guy dude and Jeff Foxworthy are pretty funny... just laughin' at redneck humor. )Quote:

Thumbs up to most of the list.
I'll add Allan Havey. His old Comedy Central show Night After Night was the best talk show ever. |
