Most entertaining current commercials

Since we've already got our gripe thread, what commercials have you seen lately that crack you up.

I personally like the recent one's for ESPN's College Gameday, where the hosts are set up like gurus in a cave atop a Himalayan mountain.

"Can the puma dethrone the lion?"

"Uh....yes?"

"No." <Gong!>

The cereal commercial where the office worker gets fired but can not hear his boss while it is happening. "You're fired. You're taking this well, I like your attitude, you'll do well... just not here. Because you're fired."
And he just keeps chewing and nodding his head.

I like the cellphone service commercial where a few guys are camping and none of them want to roam during peak hours to get medical attention for their friend with a "bug bite". The guy comes out and and looks like he's got a goiter growing off of the side of his face.

Juicy Fruit Commercials
1. Guys dresses like office furniture in order to steal the gum
2. Pinata comes alive and take back gum
3. CPR dummy comes alive and still the gum

I like the one they played to death during the Olympics, with the world's most adorable little black girl trying to "magic" the car to start.

though some hate em, i actually like the geico commercials.
the one where a squirrel gets in the way of a car and almost gets run over, but the car swerves and you hear a crash. they then pan over to the squirrel high-fiving another squirrel.
another is the one where the dogs are sticking their noses out in the air while in the moving cars, done in slow-mo. Its actually the song with the whistling that i like about it.

The "This is SportsCenter" line is gold. In particular, I like the one where Kenny Mayne and Dan Patrick are doing the international broadcast (Kenny Maynski and Boris Patric)... the one with Gheorge Muresan trying to break the pinata but just hitting the support pipe because he's too tall and blindfolded... and the one where they draft a young kid to be anchor because the scouting reports are good but he can't handle the pressure ("Jimmy Key? How old is that guy? I could hit him! Did you see the game? He sucks!").

Muresan used to be comic gold on those ESPN commercials. The pinata one was great, and I liked the one where he was dancing with an anchor, and someone else walks up and says, "Hey Gheorge, what are you doing?" "Just dancin." Then they all end up doing the gawkiest, most uncoordinated dances man has ever known.

Generally, commercials on ESPN are the greatest of all. They are comedic brilliance defined.

"Leon can't do it all..."

Not really current...but it was played during the Olympics.

The one with Michael Phelps swimming from Greece to the US...and when he gets to the US, he says, "1"

Good times!

OK...another funny one today.

Just before the UCLA kickoff, the Miller commercial where the father and son are fishing, and the ref pops up out of the water...

"Disrespecting his father with a beer with less taste
"That's a loss of inheiritance!"

"We have a nonoriginal tatoo infraction!
"Tribal armband."

"PLAY BEER!"

I just saw another commercial I'd forgotten about. I normally hate Geico commercials but this one cracks me up.

It's the soap opera one with that guy and girl where he tells her he's got great news and she thinks it means he's leaving his other girlfriend....but instead he saved a bunch of money on car insurance.

"I saved! I thought that meant something to you!"

I like the Citibank fraud commercials. They're the ones about identity theft. The Starbucks commercials are also funny.

I like the one with the guy and girl on the beach, as well.

"Disproportionately hot girlfriend...this will require further review!"

I love the "Thank You" commercials from Citi. They were stupid at first, but they grow on you. Or at least they grew on me.

I think there might be one that is ok but the rest of them (ladies in the supermarket, dude and his girl at dinner) annoy me. I can't think of the one that is ok but yeah, I think the whole premise is kinda weak.
