I saw a program about her on Nightline or something and I actually searched for and bought a CD- "Live at Blues Alley". I have never done that for any other artist. She has a really amazing voice. She does jazz, blues, classics and really does not fit into one category of music. For those not familiar with her, she died in her early 20s from cancer just as people were starting to notice her music after only recording like three albums. Worth checking out- especially if you like women like Norah Jones. Try some of the samples at Amazon.
