Question Teams you like to see beaten

Just like the question says: what teams do you like to see lose and why? They can be from any sport and pro/college.

For me as a 'skins fan watching the Dallas Cowpokes go down is enjoyable. Even if the 'skins lost all of their other games as long as they beat the arrogant "America's Team" the season wouldn't be a total loss.

Boston RedSox
Dallas Cowboys
Florida State/Miami
St. Louis Rams

Add to that list any other team people like only because they hopped on a bandwagon when the team started winning.

I like to see the SanFrancisaco Baseball Giants lose as well as the New York football Giants.

Good to see the Mets lose (Yes, I am a Yankee fan)

Living in Atlanta people are trying to cram the Georgia Bulldogs down my throat so it is nice to see them go down.

I like it when the Packers lose because anything that makes a person who will wear cheese on their heads happy can't be a good thing.

The Arizona Wildcats - As an ASU alumni I gotts ta hate them.

And Tiger Woods simply because he has been over hyped. He is great but people need to see that he can't walk on water.

Personally, I thought that was funny as well... They too were/are scared of the "strong winds" from the south.

Maybe one day they'll get Miami back on the schedule... for the "ratings" and credibility of playing a consistent "top 10" college team.

Football:
Cowboys, all because of the image that was set by them during their "dynasty" years (i freakin' hate Deon and Irving)
Ravens, because they're just overrated. period.
oh, and the 49'ers...

Baseball:
SF Giants.

Basketball:
Doesnt matter, since they're all going to be beaten by the Lakers but if i had to pick a team, definitely the Sacromento Queens. (hehe)

I positively hate the Dallas Cowboys. I would pay to see them lose. They definitely are not "America's Team".

I don't mind the 49ers, but I hate their fans. They are by far the worst fair-weather fans of any sport and are positively annoying.

Other sports... the Lakers losing puts a smile on my face.

I'm not a big baseball or hockey fanatic, so I am somewhat ambivilent on those sports.

You can thank my old college roommate for turning me off to the 'canes. Even though he was a fellow gator he would always root for the canes and claim that when and if the two teams would ever play again (yes, it was that long ago) the canes would destroy the Gators.

As for the game last saturday against the Vols...that was complete and total horsesheit! The freaking ref cost us the game because he called the foul on the Gators when it was the Vol who started it. Honestly, I dont like losing, but if we lose and its fair/a good game its alright, but losing due to a 20 yd penalty that should never have been accessed just pisses me off.

they have not been "America's Team" for a long time... and even then they weren't. my brother and i had a huge sibling rivalry growing up due to his love for the Cowboys. which makes me still like to see them lose today.

I knew that would come out sooner or later... most everybody hates ND. As for the Miami/Top 10 team thing, I challenge you to find a team that plays a harder schedule year in/year out. When was the last time ND played a I-AA team? They haven't (yet) broken and joined a conference with an automatic in to BCS bowls 2 or 3 patsy games every year. Sure, they usually play one or two of the serice acadamies, but hey, Air Force is good some years and they don't play them for easy wins, they play them because they are tradition. Just like Michigan and USC. Don't you think they'd give up those games if they "were/are too scared of playing a consistent "top 10" college team?

Come on, look at ND's schedule over the past 2 or 3 years... FSU, Michigan, Tennessee, USC every year... so don't go pulling the credibility line... that's total BS.

lol. if it makes you feel any better, a fat guy sat in front of me for a quarter, and it was the end zone so the view wasn't perfect.

also, and this is incredulous, i actually had to pay for the tickets. that sucked. i'm used to going for free to games. lol. the game was sold out. i guess it was only the third or so night game ever at MSU.

you'll find this funny Whitak...the guy that's painted all green came by near the end of the game. we had moved down to the bottom row against the railing cuz all the state fans were leaving. as he walked past i said, "check the hat green guy" and pointed to my ND hat. he said, "it's johhny spirit, not green guy." bwahahahaha...i about wet myself. he was all pissed off. i thought i was going to get decked by the MSU superfan.

What about FSU? They get Miami and UF every year, plus at least one team in their conference tends to be strong (NC State, for example).

let's see....this could last for awhile:

NFL: Redskins, NY Jets/Giants, NE Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, TB Bucs

MLB: NY Yankees

College Football (in descending order): University of Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami, FSU, Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and most any other team that is a constant top team.

College Basketball: University of Michigan, DUKE, Pitt, Wisconsin (until the NCAAs), UNC, UCLA, Florida (their first or second round NCAA flame-out does my heart good every year), Cincinatti

NBA: Lakers, Bulls, Knicks, Nets, Pacers

NHL: NJ Devils, Colorado Avs

So... perhaps they play 3 tough games all year at most? Out of the 13 they ususally play? Hell, a 10-3 FSU team is considered for the BCS title game (beacuse of the ACC Championship). Now, no fault to them for this, and in an about face, shame on ND for not doing the same. Maybe they would have won a couple of titles in the past 10-15 years if they regularly scheduled some conference patsies were in a big-name conference.

This could set me off on a whole nother tangent about rankings and such, but I'll leave it at this. Pre-Season polls should be eliminated. Play 2 or 3 weeks and let people rank teams then. I'm incredibly tired of teams being rated much higher then they should be, losing 203 games, and still being ranked, much less ranked ahead of other, undefeated, perhaps less visable teams that didnt start the season out ranked. Look how teams such as FSU and Michigan have exploited that.
