I laughed a hell of a lot more than I thought I would.

I wanted him to get it on with that chick at the party (the one he insulted

There was something unnerveing about the whole movie, that I just couldn't put my finger on, but it was pretty ok. I was actually glad the girl drug me to the theatre to see it, kicking and screaming I might add.

I don't know why, but the Boathouse made me laugh. I don't know why

Went to see it last night. Excellent excellent film. There were many ideas and thoughts that I could relate to being a native Jerseyan myself. It's amazing how many people have come out of Columbia High School (Zach Braff, Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Pras)

I just saw this movie last night on video. I was not impressed after all of the good things I've heard about the film. Natalie Portman's character kind of reminded me of the girl from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, except without the crazy mind sh!t to justify it all. I just thought the movie was kind of boring and without much of a point. I guess Zach Braff wanted to do more films so he wrote and directed it for himself. The boat house was cool, but the rest of the film was boring IHMO.

I too just saw this after missing the premieres in the movies. I can relate to a lot of the stuff that people do there (as the West Orange area is VERY similar to my hometown in terms of demographic, etc) and overall found the movie pretty good. I am a big fan of Zach Braff from his Scrubs actions. However I don't think it was worth all the hype that my friends cracked it up to be - it was a very good movie but nothing to die for.

I liked this movie, some parts were weird but I laughed alot. I definately think it was better than I thought it was going to be. btw, I want to live in the boat house. That thing was cool.

I love Zach Braff...hes hot.
and the movie was awesome.
its either you love it or hate it...but you have to be able to self reflect to like these movies.

natalie portman is hot. my fiancee has a friend who looks a lot like natalie portman and is just as hot if not hotter, but she is so incredibly annoying i can't spend more than 2 minutes in the same room with her. i'll take natalie portman any day though.

hmmm...

natalie portman was about the only thing i didn't like about this movie. yeah she's cute and all, but her acting really doesn't do it for me. for one thing, through no fault of her own, she just looks really young, and because of that, i was unsure exactly how old she was supposed to be. i mean, maybe it's just me, but during that pool party scene when the two of them are just sitting by the fireplace talking, the beer in her hand looked really out of place and unnatural.

anyway, the rest of the movie i liked; the pacing, the cinematography, the overall mood. the writing was okay, i thought. but yeah, i just couldn't get over natalie portman; her acting just felt kinda contrived and she almost annoyed me...

totally thought natalie with beer in hard so out of place.

the movie sucked. I almost fell asleep. Thank God it was only on DVD because If I had paid actual movie price to see it I would have been pissed.
