Ryan Cabrera WAS Ashlee Simpson's boyfriend while she was taping her show, and I used to think he was a talentless giant tool until I heard his album. New opinion formed. He's out of Texas, did local shows, and headed out to the west coast to try to make it... I have more respect for him because he at least earned his ticket out there. Anyway, it's worth a listen... he's a good guitar player and a good singer... neither stellar in each, but I dig it. I just skip over his "On the way down" song and all is good

Jamie Cullum is a VERY talented pianist/singer... he's one of the youngest faces in jazz. He's been featured on VH1 before, and I'm hoping he wins the Grammy this year for Best Jazz Vocal Album.

OTWD is on heavy rotation on our stations and that's all i've heard of him. apparently he was at a Dane Cook show i went to, but i didn't even know who he was, and i don't think Dane did either. i guess he's a big fan and even thanks Dane on his album.

Anyone heard Jamie Cullum? He was in a Target commercial with "All At Sea" as his single tonight. I don't want to say he's the next Norah Jones, but he's that caliber in my mind.

"True" is Cabrera's next single. I like it much better than OTWD... it at least evokes an emotion from me
