Noooooo! Law & Order star Orbach dead at 69

Very sad. I love Law & Order, and he was an absolutely awesome actor. I was even going to watch the latest L&O spinoff because he was going to be in it.

Orbach was a TV icon for more than a decade. I am a big fan of the L&O franchise and will miss his presence on and off the screen.

Lennie was awesome. I loved the dry remarks he'd make that would make him sound like an old school cop. Great actor, great character. RIP.

I guess this has to be done:

*CHNNK CHNNK*

RIP Jerry Orbach, you played my favorite L&O character and made it something I enjoy watching. You definitely had some of the best lines ever too.

They played an old interview they'd done with him on Fresh Air today. They played a clip of him doing Broadway shows. Holy crap the guy could sing! You'd never have guessed it from his role on L&O.

What an actor.

He was getting it treated but I guess it won.
I liked what Dick Wolf had to say about him:

“I’m immensely saddened by the passing of not only a friend and colleague, but a legendary figure of 20th Century show business,” said Dick Wolf, creator and executive producer of the “Law & Order” series, in a statement. “He was one of the most honored performers of his generation. His loss is irreplaceable.”

It is too true...I adored him on L&O but fell in love with him even more when I heard him sing and saw him dance-he was so talented!

Sad Day for Show Biz.
