Arrested Development
How has this show lasted? It is definitely the WORST show ever put on TV.
I took someone to the Emergency Room nearly two weeks ago. There was a TV there and it was showing this really really dumb so-called sitcom. The acting is horrible. I have seen high school plays with better acting. The characters are a bunch of mindless idiots. It isn't even close to funny.

It's lasted because many many people completely disagree with you. It's absolutely hilarious and not a standard "sitcom" in the sense that its stories do not simply start and end within a half hour period - it really helps to have watched multiple episodes to understand the story arc and the characters.
Maybe it offends your values? Who the heck knows. But personally, I think it's abso-friggin'-lutely hilarious.

Yeah, it's not really my thing (I watched the first ep) but I know tons of people love it. heh

It has nothing to do with my values. The acting is so juvenile.
I was trying to think of a movie or another TV show where the acting was so bad. The old Mel Brooks movies and I think the Dennis Miller show had really terrible acting. It really is one of those shows that you have to watch a few times for it to grow on you. It is pretty good in a psuedo-reality TV comedy kind of way.
