I just got in, and caught the score as they were going to halftime. I'm actually not that shocked. I thought Oklahoma was a little overrated. Good team, and Peterson is great, but Leinart and Bush are better. Still, I would've guessed it more like 24-10 at the half, not 38-10.

OU played a horrible game offensively and defensively. They can't hold USC on D and turned over too many times. I wonder if Auburn could play USC better.

The Pac 10 ended up with the same record as the Big 12 in this bowling season (4-3).

That game reminded me of the Cotton Bowl the year Miami absolutely gang-raped the Longhorns, 55-10 or so. Of course, in that game, the Canes ended up redefining what "excessive celebration" meant.

Ahhhh, the good/bad old days.

SC played a really good game. OU just didn't bring it. Good luck to them next year. You could tell in the 2nd half that OU was pretty much out of it.

Jason White is overrated. He was last year when he won the Heismann.

as much as I hate SC being a UCLA alum myself, I gotta say that they played a hell of a game. they look like a pro football team sometimes. and they just owned OU.

in my mind the best national championship game by far was Ohio State vs. Miami 2 years ago. Damn that was a good game.

I now hate you almost as much as I hate terrible pass interference calls.

IMHO, they each got their own pass interference calls at the end of that game that balanced it all out. but there were plenty of other things that make that game great. McGahee taking the ball from the defender after the defender intercepted the pass. McGahee getting his knee obliterated. and both teams really punching each other in the mouth all game. i do have to say though, i love the last 15 minutes of that game. i had no interest in either team, i just wanted to see a good game that went down to the wire.

I didn't watch much college football until recently but the Ohio State vs. Miami game was great. IMHO Miami was robbed but if they played the game right, the game shouldn't be decided by one play (interference).

This is true, and that's why I don't get too bitter about the game. Miami was far and away the better team. They should've put the game away earlier before McGahee blew out the knee, and it wouldn't have even gotten that close.

Still, that was definitely NOT pass interference.

Yup.. he rarely gets any pressure. I could name dozens of other quarterbacks that would be way better than him if they had OU's offensive line. USC pressured him all day and you saw what happened.
