You know what... I'm going to have to revise my statement.

The black ones don't look bad, if you have a crappy video card. I'm at work now, and you just can't see any of the black spandex'd guys' junk. However, at home, where I have a good monitor/video you can plainly see everyone's junk.

you would if you were into biking. wearing regular shorts would be like playing basketball in a suit. regular shorts really restrict your movement on a road bike.

i would also wear a tutu if i was a ballerina, but i'm not.

i get by just fine with regular (read: not form fitting on the nuts) shorts for mountain biking and that's all i care about.

it's far more comfortable that the alternative when you're riding. i don't have any problem riding w/bike shorts. when i stop and get off the bike, i'm instantly self-conscious. as apparently, i should be.

I primarily do road rides (e.g. MS150) where there are hundreds of others riding, so when i get off the bike, I'm far less self-conscious.

Cheapie, have you tried (or known of someone who has tried) shorts like these? I just wonder how really comfortable they are.
