WHITE NOISE-the movie

I jumped in a few spots..the movie in itself was kinda boring..dragged on in places, and the ending totally sucks, but Michael Keaton is pretty good looking in it..so it was worth the 8 bucks. Thumbs down on this one.

I was reading the info on the website about EVP or "Electronic Voice Phenomena" and it was kind of interesting about how big of an interest there is in the theory. I was thinking about checking out the movie but I don't like to spend 10 bucks on crappy movies, so I figured I would wait for a review from a fellow Got Apexer. Obby are you saying it's not very solid? Is it worth a rental at least?

It's not worth going to see it unless you are a fan of Keaton..definately worth a rental though..I was kind of hoping that it would be "WOW" scary, or at least somewhat nerve wracking..and it was in a few spots..key word FEW. 90% of the movie was watching Keaton sit around be depressed. Let's just put it this way..a guy sat behind me saying..YEH RIGHT! during most of the movie and I hate to say I agreed with him. At one point, Keaton-because of some events prior-ends up at a deserted building on a pier...to save the day of course...naturally, I guess his Batman complex carries through to all of his movies, because IRL there is no way in hell a regular guy would do what he does in this scene...rent it, but if you go to see it-don't say I didn't warn you.

I just saw this movie yesterday, I thought it was definately creepy. It was completely unbeleivable but I guess in a movie like this you just have to let go of your common sense. I did jump in a few spots also, but I would definately use the word creepy to describe this flick. Definately worth a rental, don't waste your $$ to go to the theater. BTW, what scary movie has there been lately anyway? I know they've tried, but have any movies really been "scary"?

during the commercial, as soon as i heard the tagline "the most disturbing film in years," i already knew it was gonna blow. any suspense/horror flick that feels the need to hype up its own scariness is already starting off on the wrong leg.

yeah, not gonna waste my money on this one...

I have no desire to see any movie about occult practices.

Outside the box? Consulting with the dead is as old as the hills. Nothing new here.

There is an alternate ending to this movie. They switch all of the analog devices creating this "white noise" to digital.
