But really, all Yao needs is a summer off. China needs to back off. I don't think they realize that if you give him time to recuperate from basketball, he'll play much better and increase his exposure.

i dunno....i think yao is pretty overrated at this point.

great game for the rockets last night though. i hate the nets, so i'm always happy to see them lose. it was especially funny seeing jason kidd gun away from around the three point line at the end trying to win it for them. hell, i'll give kidd a wide-open shot from that far out all night. 90% of the time, he's not going to make enough to really hurt me

I still don't think so. You see his flashes of greatness more often than not. But...he just needs to toughen up and play US ball and not China ball. Be a little more bullyish under the basket. Fight hard and dunk hard....I think he's still used to playing Chinese ball where things were a little more polite.
