Falcons vs Eagles

Any predictions?

Personally, I think the Falcons could pull it off as long as Vick doesn't make any major mistakes and the Eagles D isn't able to contain Vick.

What does everyone else think about this game?

I'm all for the underdog in this game.

It will be a closed game and the Falcons would win if the Falcons have the running game going like the last game.

My reasoning comes as a niners fan. I hate T.O., so I want the Eagles to go down and him to be the cause of it all if at all possible. Also I love watching Vick play so that would be a fun Superbowl.

I agree with the pick but this will not be like last game. The Eagles D is *nothing* like the St Lou D.

Eagles- in a blowout.

The Falcons only got this far because the NFC had nothing to offer this year. I say the Eagles take an early lead, make the Falcons one-dimensional, and make Vick useless. If Andy Reid is smart, he's going back and watching tapes of how the Bucs used to play Vick. If you make him try to win it himself, the Falcons self-destruct.

If the Eagles had a decent running game, they might present a decent challenge to the AFC winner, but as it stands, I say they make the Big Game and lose by 14+.

i'm going to have to say eagles. atlanta just had too many games this season where they just blew it (i mean, come on....they pretty much got spanked by the LIONS, of all teams [yes, i realize that was early in the season, but still]). even without TO, the eagles have proved that they can pound it out.

eagles, but i may be biased. i was at the game the last time the eagles played the falcons in a playoff. it was close, but we beat them with no offense.

Eagles will win, but there's certainly a part of me hoping they go a 4th straight year without winning the NFC.

I think the monkey on Philly's back is too much for them to shake without TO. 4 yrs as the favorites to be the NFC champs = 4 yrs of not being the NFC champs.

I don't know that they have been the favorites all 4 years... the first of the 4, they had to play on the road.

I don't like dome teams going outdoors on the road.

Vick can be contained - the Cardinals did it during a 6-3 loss early in the season. I don't see him going bananas on the road in cold weather.
