If you didn't see "National Treasure" with Nic Cage you should buy it when it comes out. It is a great movie. Especially for kids.

tell me how Sin City is. I read some of it years ago and I'm surprised at how short the notice was...or I need to watch more TV.

I was being silly. You typed watch as "wathc" If you pronounced it. You would sound like you had a lisp. Not funny when you have to explain it. Guess I better try a little harder.

They don't make good movies from Jan-Jun because nobody remebers them at Oscar time. If they gave out Oscars twice a year, you'd see better movies more often. (Of course, then we'd be stuck with yet another boring ceremony for people we don't care about preaching politics that we don't care about.)

Ok went to watch sin city ... for my taste I loved it BUT! i have to say this it isn't your average movie it divides itself in storylines, and is extremely violent , and has partial nudity scenes , so be careful with who you're taking. But I must say a lot of people left the theater even before the half of it, and you can go watch it for a good laugh in some parts as well ...

personally I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5

Cool

Going to see Beauty Shop with Queen Latifah tomorrow. Will let you know how is was. But the previews look pretty good. Has any one seen Costners new flic " Upside of Anger?" It looks pretty good. Have seen Miss Con2
and Pacifer. Both very entertaining. Pacifer great kids movie.

I saw the movie "HOUSE OF D" the other night at a special screening.
David Duchovny directed, wrote, and acted in the play, It was so awesome because he was acutally at the screening and Did a Q/A time and we got to meet him. It was the BEST movie i have seen ALL YEAR. It was funny, and also sad at the same time. The story was a GREAT STORY, you will have to see it to understand...I think it comes out in a few weeks, but a HIGHLY recommed it. Robin Williams is also in it.....dont forget clocks forward tonight..loose an hour of sleep...

I loved Beauty Shop! It was really a nice change to see a funny, upbeat movie that focused on loving connections and empowering women! Definitely worth the full admission price of $9, if you're into paying for movies. A+

Just saw Sin City. I really liked it. It was really well done. Beware that it is very dark. 8.8 / 10

Well i also went to see Sin City..... we stayed for all of it....don't know why tho....not my kind of movie at all....
Alot of blood shedding, violence, nudity, and alot of foul language....of course alot of television shows are getting like that also.....
Maybe it was just a guy thing......

I didn't give it a good rating....O i can't even see how to get it up on the chart....

I also saw a kid, not that old 6,7,8, at this show.... could not believe it....this was not a show for a kid to see at all......

Yes i saw people walk out also...now i wish it would have been me too.....

It must be that kid whose dad (or maye its his uncle) works for Fox. He seems to show up at a lot of things. I recently saw him at the tail end of the "thanks" commercial for the Legoland Fox/Star event. He's very outspoken and bordering on being obnoxious.

I belong to the Grossmont Schools Fed Credit Union ,so I get tickets for $4.50
So I go to the movies alot more than I would if I were paying $9.00 . I am so old ,I remember going to the movies for .25 and watching the movie 3 or 4 times. You could get soda and candy for .50. That was in Norfolk Va when my dad was stationed there.

Yeah the movie WAS too gory , bloody , and all of the things you said but that was the whole point of it because it's being loyal to the graphic novel, it is literally adapted...

I saw the upside of Anger as a screener about a year ago. Everyone I saw it with thought it blowed. The reviews here make me think they changed the entire movie.

Well, no....everyone liked it except me. Not that it was really bad, just that I found it totally uninteresting and would need an ultra lazy rainy day with absolutely nothing else on and nothing to do before I watch it on TV...of course, with the right girl, that might change...
