Gotta love them Padres
Ok since spring training is offically over if we're gonna post about the Padres we need to start a new thread.
So tonight is the Padre's opening day at home, Petco Park. After 6 innings Jake Peavy already has 9 k's but he's looking like he's getting tired. Score is still 0-0. Man I love these guys. Do I have baseball fever? Heck yeah and I certainly do not want a cure. |

Tonight was a 1st. Padres win 1-0
I have never seen a game go to the 12th 0-0 and have the game won because the pitcher couldn't throw a strike...until tonight.

Not the best way to win, but it's a win
 Bats were silent but no big deal. They know this park, and it's just gonna take them a few before they remember how to do it the right way. Peavy pitched a gem.

Well this is a nice surprise... I just found out my college pass allows for free parking at Petco all season.
