Audio books online for download?

I am not sure if this is in the right forum, but I was wondering if anyone knows any websites that feature audio books for download? I got a promotion not too long ago but I lost it. TIA.

Thanks Cubsfan. You watching the doubleheader? Prior is looking pretty good.

I've never heard an audiobook. Is the whole book actually read, or are they abridged?

I can't help wondering cause I'm a really slow reader, and if I ever recorded an audiobook on CD, it would probably be sold as a box set.

State of Fear was 15 hours unabridged. Good one. And yes... audible rocks.

They have lots of popular titles. Da Vinci Code... the Clinton autobiographies... business stuff.... it's a good service.

You can get them either way. I like both ways, depending on my time. When we lived in Garden City and it took us 6 hours to get down to my parent's house, we'd get the ones that were about 6-8 hours long. But right now, I have 4 burned on cd that I need to listen to that are double that. Well, 12-14 hrs. I love it.

Audible is great... Unfortunatley, I have 30 some odd books, only listened to 10, too lazy to grab my ipod... HAHAH I know I am strange.
