I tried to search for 24, but it never comes up.

Just curious what % of people watch this show.

I am personally addicted, have been since season 1 I think it is a soap opera for guys, but recently I have found some girls interested in it.

Anyone have any theroies? jeweg and I were talking about it, he has a good theroy, What has happened to DOD Hessler. Could it be a hostile takeover?

This is really my first full season watching "24". I caught some episodes before but never into it until now. I really like the show.

My friends and I rent it on DVD when it comes out and watch it nearly non-stop for about 2 days. However, one of the ****ers ruined that this year because he got all excited about watching it in HD on TV. I think the show rocks, but from what I hear, this season isn't all that great.

I take it you saw the Family Guy promo lastnight eh?

Also..if he's never eating or drinking, he's probably dehydrated and doesn't need to go.

No time to follow any series, though I would rent 24/alias and make a day of it.

WHAT!@#)&!@#@!#

Come on buddy, look at the story line and what has happened, that is more then ANY other season. So much is going on(well such a well laid out plan by the terrorist).

I will say for those watching season 4 without watching season 1-3, you really should go rent or buy the DVD's and watch them. It adds a lot of backround to the story and who the characters are. I just know my roommate watched season 4 with us after not seeing the first 3 and didn't understand the impact of tony or michelle coming back.

And that's kinda the problem with this season. So much is happening, the show is jumping all over the place, and making lots of mistakes along the way.

You can fly a routine maintenance flight during a code-red terrorist situation, in the same city?

The F117 maintenace crew let someone they didn't recognize check off and fly the plane?

Jack got to the crash site of the football (FROM LA!) first, when Nellis (Las Vegas) has an Air Force Air-Rescue team on full-time standby?

I still haven't seen last nights, but I've gotten a little bored with this season.

Season two is still the best.

you know, i've never seen the show, but a similar thought has run through my head about it: during the chronological 24 hours depicted, do any of the characters involved sleep at all? or are the viewers expected to suspend their disbelief for the sake of good tv? or am i just being overly nitpicky?

I watch it and so far (I have watched the 1st 12 episodes) this season is good. My favorite part was Tony coming back and kicking some arse. I will catch up on the rest of the episodes soon.

I don't think it's unrealistic that a person can stay awake for 24hrs, particularly during a national emergency

I stayed up 24 hours before (cramming for finals) but I took breaks regularly.

I also stayed up to gamble (playing cards) with my friends after the final, which totaled more than 24 hours.

I think the longest period without sleep for me is around 38-42 hrs while studying for engineering finals. If I can stay awake that long while reading/studying/etc... dry engineering crap, I am sure that someone can stay awake fro 24 hrs while being shot at.

I love 24, but this is something that I do have a problem with. I have worked on many projects that have required long hours and some have gone into people pulling 24-hour shifts. In my experience, fatigue becomes a big issue after about 12-14 hours. You start making more mental mistakes, you start missing things, you are just not as mentally sharp as you are when you've had some sleep. I'm sure the adrenaline of the national emergency helps a bit, but everyone in the show keeps looking great throughout the 24-hours of the day in question and with everything happening, there should be a cumlative effect towards the end that isn't there.

It's still an insanely intense, addicting show and I like season 2 the best myself.

i started watching it at the beginning of season 1, and loved it. but i just can't keep up with appointment television (unless, of course, it's a sporting event). so then i stopped until this season, when i started watching it on my friends' DVR. but i've missed the last couple weeks.

good show...obviously, there are some gaps in reality. however, i don't think the "working for 24 hours straight" is one of them. while i agree with kevster that after 12 or 14 hours, fatigue starts to set in, efficiency is lost, and more mistakes are made, i think this is pretty realistic. i'm sure there were a lot of people in security centers who went to work on the morning of sept. 11 and didn't sleep for at least 48 hours.

I've heard....ummm...from a friend.....that you can download the episodes online using some type of torrent downloader. That is just what I heard, though.

Except Jack... Kiefer is at risk of being typecast, I like him in this role, but pass some of the action on to someone new. I know they tried it last year with that kid, can't recall his name, but it didn't work, cause the fans didn't like him?

Jack as a DOD is good, but should be a consultant, and be working in another area of the country. How is it that ALL terrorist activities are investigated thru
CTU LA, and why not SS FBI or CTU Chicago, where the bomb is heading...

AND WHERE THE HELL IS SECRETARY HELLER?

Only a few more episodes left this season, it looks like!

How about Chloe on the last episode eh?
Me and a friend were just talking the other day.. don't wanna be out on a mission with Jack if you're his side-kick/partner for the episode.. you're gonna get toasted one way or another..
