Is anyone else out there watching this new edition of American Idol? Are you as bewildered as I am that Scott Savol is still hanging on? He is so bad I just don't understand who is voting for him. It is like a flashback to last year only its a fat White guy this time. I am voting my little heart out for Bo Bice. Carrie is okay, Anthony sucks and Vonzell is okay. Constantine sucks AND needs to wash and comb his hair. What do you think?

I totally agree. I think the 6 boys ,6 girls was very unfair to the guys. Some of the guys that went home were way better than some of the girls that stayed. Prime example:Michaela. I know they try to make it politically correct but its giving the girls an unfair edge. I can't wait to see who wins I hope its Bo but i think he will do okay whether he wins or not. Like Clay Aiken.

From the very start of this season the guys have been stronger than the girls. Now the numbers are showing 2 girls and 4 guys left, although 2 of the guys should be the ones to depart in the next 2 weeks.

None of the performers did bad on Tuesday despite it being disco week.

Yeah it was a shock to see the talented gentleman Anwar Robinson get the boot instead of Anthony Federov and the Scott Savol. Simon Crowell foretold the bottom three and when he spoke of Robinson's rendition of Earth, Wind and Fire's "September" not being a winning performance. My view is Robinson should have gone further and gotten into the top 5, though he wouldn't have won the competition.

Earlier this season I remarked to someone that while Robinson was having decent performances, he was relying on the last hitted note to put him over the top, instead of that note being the cherry on top of a good consistent performance.

Scott Savol is a marginal talent that should have been removed already.

During the initial audition Savol seemed like a decent guy that deserved going to Hollywood. Over time I grew disenchanted with the tubster and want the stuck on himself guy to be voted off already.

During the performance show the night before, Savol had complained that he didn't see why Bice and Constantine Maroulis were cast as the show's rockers when he was the real rocker. Then he gave judge Simon Cowell a boatload of attitude, after which he nicked viewers by boasting that there were millions out there who hadn't the nerve to do what he was doing. {"I'm up here and there's, like, millions of people at home who didn't have the nerve to do this," Savol said.) Characteristically, last night he raced past Bo and Nadia when he found out he was "safe," without so much as a wave or a "have an apple."

Its not bewildering why Savol lingers on to annoy, sometimes the voting public doesn't get it right. But its about more than that, its about getting backing from groups of people that will keep voting for a performer no matter how he/she does. As an example, last season there were a couple younguns that hung on well past their expiration date {the crooning Conan O'Brien lookalike and Jasmine Trias who was getting the "hey we are in our own timezone so the phone lines are clear" Hawaiian contingent and the teenybopper vote}.

Other thoughts: I am surprised to see the two rockers having done so well and also thought they might nullify each other out for votes. Would be something to see the two rockers be the final two.

Predications: Scott Savol needs to immediately go. Anthony Federov will shortly depart the show. Carrie is adequate, won't win. As for Constantine-he is a rocker and that explains the hair. No, Constantine is not the greatest talent there, but he is charismatic.

My favorite to win the competition: Bo Bice. He's got the experience and seems to have it. Like you said RIVERWIDOW even if he doesn't become the American Idol, he'll do fine.

Final comment: Paula Abdul is useless, but what else is new. "You did great even when you really didn't." Oh, please! Then she has the nerve to lead boos against Simon Crowell who is the real star of the show with those cutting quips.

No way should Anwar be gone before Scott or Anthony. Of course I am still trying to figure out how Ruben Studderd won last year. I think Scott needs to be gone real soon. He is slowly but surely showing his true colors and BAD attitude. He is so arrogant and I still can't figure out what he thinks he has to be arrogant about. I think the final 2 will be Bo & Carrie. Bo, to me, just seems to have the most talent.

You are right. I forgot Fantasia. And yes I am a Clay fan . I'm old. time flies when you're having fun. But I 'm still trying to figure it out. I see in today's news that Constantine's band is releasing a CD on May 10th I think it was. He, of course , won't be able to tour with his group.

Fantasia is an incredible singer. I heard her sing the Star Spangled Banner at some basketball game shortly after she won, and I don't know if I have ever heard it sung better. She is amazing.

Well, all I know is she guest-starred & sang this season on AI and I dunno, it's just maybe a personal feeling, cause I hated her voice.

bo is sssssssssupersexy!!!!!! that savol guy reminds me of the crazy guy in full metal jacket. i agree about constantine-hes gross,greasy and he always makes that stupid pouty face that,plus the fact he cant sing and wore girly makeup on his eyes on disco nite makes me dislike him even more.

I think what I like about Bo so much is that he is so at ease with the whole AI thing. Its like if he wins okay but if he doesn't thats okay too. He is just really being himself and he's all relaxed and it makes him that much more likable. I also was not sold on Fantasia. She was okay but not ,I think, as good as Clay or Kelly Clarkson.

Honestly, in season 1... Kelly is lucky that America voted out Tamyra Gray who probably could have won it... "Sideshow Bob" really wasn't a strong "second place" challenger...

And Clay... well... "give my regards to broadway"... but he just really isn't a "pop" star to me.

Either way... I don't even watch AI anymore... everyone is generally biased in what they like to hear therefore there is always gonna be someone who is disappointed in who actually wins... Kinda like the same reason I don't like most music and movie award shows.

Acutally, I think also that everyone's favorites are picked by the type of music they sing best. I like Sinatra, Johnny Mathis etc so It figures I would like Clay.
I was in hight school in the late 60's so I lean more toward Bo. I am not into rap, hip-hop or heavy metal so anyone who sings along those lines I don't like. The one exception is Carrie. I listen to mostly Country but she just doesn't do it for me. I like Vonzell better. I am what I guess you would call an easy music listener. As for Scott he just SUCKS!

Yeah, you can't go and sing a Nickleback song and choke that horribly. This voice isn't very powerful, how can he claim to be a rocker if he can't even get a hard edge to his voice.

The russian kid sang pretty well, scott should be booted beforre him.

Now, that would be the way I feel about Scott. He just always has such a sneer on his face. When Tues. nite Simon said "I think you should pack your bags" Scott looked at Simon with a f**k you look on his face. I just think he sucks beyond words. I think the final 3 will be ,Bo Carrie & Vonzell. Scott is like the poor mans Rueben Studdard. Trailer Trash! and he hits girls!

I liked constantine! I can't believe he got kicked off (although the last performance DID suck)
I have no problem with scott, but the people i can't stand are Carrie and Anthony. Anthony should have been kicked off a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago, and Carrie just gets on my last nerve.

I like Carrie a lot. I think Bo should win, tho. I liked Cons, altho his vocals weren't as strong as the others. i don't mind Scott's vocals, but his attitude ruins is for me. He is NOT an IDOL, which is part of what the show is about. Like RW said, he hits women. Is he REALLY someone we want our children to idolize?

Cons always eye F***'d the camera. It drove me nuts. And he would always to half assed "I'm a Rocker Too!" moves that bo just does better. He's a 6 month flash in the pan as far as talent goes. He's a punk. He's.....he's.....GARRRRRGHHGHGHGHGGHGHGHGH!@!!!!

Constatine wasn't doing very well vocally I thought the last few times. And there's only so much sexing up the camera I could stand...such BS. Oh well he's out.

Constantine was just on Regis & Kelly and once again he sucked. His hair looked like it hadn't seen a brush or shampoo in weeks! But I still think he is better then Scott. I hope that Scott is gone this week. If he isn't I have to wonder about the people who are voting for him.
