I was wondering if he was a smoker or if this was more of a shock because he didn't smoke.

obviously from his voice hes been a heavy smoker for years...but yea what a sad loss, he was a great anchorman.
which makes me realize, yea i need to quit smoking |

I thought he was one of the best anchormen. He never tried to over- sell a story. His delivery was very natural- not forced. He made you feel like he cared about what was going on in the world and was very positive about people. Goodbye Peter!

I didn't even know he was sick and I thought he was a lot younger than that. Could I be getting old
