Why, oh why do people insist on continuting to create movies based on video games? Can any good come of this?

Hey you can't forget about Wing Commander! Oh wait.. you can. Resident evil was ok, but that was essentially another zombie flick when you get down to it.

Well we have Doom to look forward to later this month, right?

Um... right, guys? Hello? Helloooooooooo?

i also saw that a film version of Silent Hill is in post-production right now.

as for this news, well, i'll be interested to see what a high-profile guy like jackson can do with it. anyone know who's directing it?

No director has been attached yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to get Brian Grazer.

Only good video game movies are those that are not based on a game at all, but a concept in a game, like the Final Fantasy movie(s).

BTW: I liked the first Moredullcombat movie. but it wasn't a good movie.
