huh...that was odd...
Watching MNF, and I think I just saw Big Ben PUNT a ball...
yup, he did. 4th down and around the 50 and he lines up at shotgun, then backs up a couple of yards and punts it to the 0.5 yard line. Weirdest thing I've seen in a while... |

This is actually pretty common, or at least, it used to be.
Another sneaky one is where they line up for a field goal but snap it directly to the kicker who then pooches it.

The kick was cool. What was strange is that Madden and Michaels had no idea that the masked dude that came into their booth was not the Grim Reaper but the Scream guy, and that I could have sworn I heard Madden say "He is going to hit the 6 hole, then he hits the A-hole." But it must have been my ears. I bet he actually said 8 hole when talking about Willie Parker's run.
