official DEN vs. PITTS thread!

game started about 30 mintues ago, and the refs already made a crappy call. I've been looking the "fumble" play, and I really think he did fumble it! LET THE BAD CALLS ROLL!!!

This is great. I can't stand Denver, and I love that Plummer is choking. Poor Denver fans had probably been trying to convince themselves all year that this was a different Jake, with the porn star mustache and all...but no.

The look on Shannahan's face was priceless too.

The Steelers were a cinch to win when I said they would beat Denver and my husband said(in his women dont know sh*t about football voice) "NO WAY IN H*LL IS PITSBURG BEATING THE BRONCOS" I rest my case. GO STEELERS!!

The Steelers look every good in the playoffs. I think they have a very good chance to beat the Seahawks.

BTW it was not a fumble since his arm touched the ground first and the ground can't cause fumble.

I am a long time Denver fan but I still thought Pittsburg might win. First, they are the best road team. They play better away from Three Rivers than they do at home. Denver's offense didn't do much against New England. If the Partiots had not turned the ball over five times they should have won.
As far as the fumble (which does not matter since it did not effect the game but gives us something to talk about), it could have gone either way. Yes there is the rule that the ground cannot cause a fumble, but he was not down when the ball popped out. You can touch your hand or arm to the ground and keep going. But as I say- doesn't matter. Steelers look awful good. The first team to knock off the first, second, and third seeds in the playoffs and to win three games on the road in the playoffs. I think Denver has been over rated all season. Just not the same without Elway. He made Shannahan look like a genius.

If his elbow is down, he's down and it looked that way.
