this current season is really starting to annoy me now.
theyve been having filler episodes for the last couple weeks, and its just making me more frustrated.
well, the writers sure know what theyre doing, and i guess i have to wait for the next few episodes to see it all unravel.
in the meantime, i am going to kill myself

The whole season of 24 is just sitting there on the PVR. I can't stand to wait for this show from week to week, so I'm going to do a 24 marathon of my own! I don't read any details about the episodes and have avoided articles on them too.

Love 24!

Supposedly 24 is filming in San Diego like Friday.. at Sub Base.. I think I might try and go down there if I can find out the time.

That used to be true for season 1-3, but four starting going downhill and five is getting bad.

I'm a big 24 fan but I am starting to get sick of it. It is just getting stupid since they have to top the previous season every year. Its fun to watch but the appeal it had to me in season 2-3 is gone now.

The best part about 24, no matter how far-fetched the plots can get, is that they kill off main characters and it's refreshing seeing new faces every few episodes.

Furthermore, I'm tired of ALL the garbage reality shows and sitcoms on the air these days. 24 being on the air is reason enough for me to keep a tv in the house.

What's better than watching an episode of 24? Watching an episode of 24 in 44 minutes.

This season is without question the weakest yet, but that still puts it above every other crappy show on TV these days. Nothing beats a good 24, and I love the showdown they're setting up between Jack and the guy who trained him.

My friend has been coming over to my place every few weeks to watch prior seasons of 24. We're finally up to Season 4 and will hopefully get through that season in the next 2 months. By that time, Season 5 will be over (I have them all tivo'd) and I'll be rewatching Season 5 with him.

I've never watched even one episode of 24....but have heard so many others say it is very good, It seems crazy to start watching this season if I have never seen any of the previous seasons so I figure I'll go out and find the DVDs on ebay and start from the beginning.

I don't know... There was an odd satisfaction to it. Painful to watch, but satisfying.

I thought this week's was one of the best this season. I've always said that what made previous seasons of 24 so riveting was the fact that given the chance, I'd watch the whole season in one night, and I was left chomping at the bit for more at the end if each episode. That hasn't been the case all year this season, and last night was a nice return to form.

Seriously. I like how seriously they treated what was effectively comic relief, with the whole serious music playing with each zap. Sweet!

Semi-Spoiler

I think they'll cover up the Presidents involvement and he'll be a puppet controlled by his wife Martha or Mike. The sub will be destroyed and news will be a nuclear accident like they had in Russia I think. Jack will start blowing people away

Jack wont die for another 3 seasons,...come on, you know that, he signed another contract.
but yea, i didnt really care for the ending of Jack being kidnapped again.
sorry i ruined it for you guys who havent seen it yet

oh, but everything else about the finale, i liked.
especially the ass kicking parts, and Jack Baur 101 lessons.

Yeah, he signed another contract to Produce and act, but there was a caveat in their press release that Kiefer would continue to produce if his character were to be killed off.

They might have to kill Jack to make one of the next 3 seasons the SEASON THAT TOPS ALL SEASONS!@#!@#%!@#.

The problem is the show tries to top the previous season and by doing so are making the show worse and worse. Instead of going back to legit plot lines they have to go all crazy plot lines. I still think if they went back to a calmer season 2 or 3 type plot line the show would be much better. Also the show is soooooooo predictable it is just bad.

Spoilers from last night...
Prime example of how predictable it was is you know Jack wasn't going to kill him, but that he planted something. You know that it was the phone or the pen and that the conversation with his wife was being recorded. You know that Jack wasn't getting a phone call from Kim. You had to figure it was the Chinese who were taking him away.

Rant Mode with spoilers...
The show is just pissing me off now. The last 15mins were horrible in the finale. So Jack was arrested but some how his daughter decided to call him? She had no idea what was going on with him since she left CTU earlier in the day. It wasn't like she knew he was arrested for kidnapping Logan. How is it that Jack goes inside a building surrounded by agents (CTU, Secret Service, etc) but gets kidnapped. To top that stupid part off, within 10mins of being in a abandoned printing building, he is completely beat up and on a ship to shanghai. How could they kidnap Jack and get him on a boat within 10mins? The show is becoming a joke.
