Musicmatch sucks, need something new

I'm finally sick and tired of Musicmatch's constant blips and freezes, looking to switch to RealPlayer or Windows Media Player (ITunes is not an option). Any thoughts on these two programs? I use a 20G H10 Iriver music player.

What are you using the programs for? Simply playing music?

ive used media player 10, and it suits me fine to play all my songs like a random jukebox.
that being said, i also use VLC and winamp, whichever mood im in.

i avoid realplayer like the plague. i use Real Alternative/media player classic to play those pesky ra or ram or rm files.

I use it as a music library, to manage my Iriver player and burn mix CD's. That's pretty much it.

Just out of curiosity, why is iTunes not an option?

Tried it. Too cluttered, not user-friendly.

i use musicmatch for everything and i love it. maybe try a fresh install or latest version or something?

the only blip i ever get is when i'm running ondemand in cd quality. and even then it happens like once or twice per month, which is nothing since i listen to it for several hours each day.

I'd like to stick with Musicmatch if possible, but it seems to have a lot of problems burning CD's...freezing app. 25% of the time. My burner is fine, the program simply stops responding. Very frustrating.

I have an iPod, but I'm not a fan of iTunes either. I only use iTunes to transfer songs to my iPod and to rip CDs to MP3's. It's really convenient for ripping; one click and you're done. Otherwise, I use winamp exclusively.
