The movie, "About Schmidt" (where that picture of Kathy Bates is from) emotionally scarred me and forced me to go through months of therapy to suppress the living nightmare of seeing a naked Kathy Bates in that movie. I literally screamed out in pain when it happened and started grabbing my eyes, screaming "My eyes! MY beautiful eyes! Please dear Lord MAKE THE PAIN STOP!!!!"

Like it was said above, Kathy Griffin is alright after I hit the light switch and stuff a sock in her mouth, so she got my vote.

With Bates, there's nothing fundamentally wrong with her other than some age and weight, and if in forty years my wife looks like that you don't think I'd still appreciate that?

With Griffin, ugh, so fundamentally flawed. Just the act itself would conjure up images of satanic rituals, hellspawn, and the world's most abrasive "ehhhh" voice. I mean seriously, you'd figure that if you could find Fran Drescher attractive, you could overcome any voice, but no, there's Kathy Griffin. Ugh.

She does have a decent figure, but Bates is an awesome actress (actor for you PC types.) I should never have watched About Schmidt. Not only was it long and depressing, that one hot tub scene was, well, one of the worst moments in film history.

I had almost purged that image from my mind until I opened this thread.

Griffin can be funny, for about 5 minutes. Then someone with any taste should kill her microphone.
