Paris' ex begs in the street

(May 4, 1:10PM ET) -- After the breakup, Stavros Niarchos arrived at Paris Hilton's house early Monday morning and later went on a screaming and yelling rant.

The photographers who were camped outside her house tell TMZ that Stavros arrived around 1a.m. and spent an hour crying and ringing her door bell, begging to be let in. At one point, Stavros was spotted sprawled out on her driveway.

Around 2 am Paris finally let him in and the screaming continued. We are told they were so loud the fight could be heard outside the house. Stavros was heard hollering "Take me back!" and "I give you everything!!" Sources say during the fight Matt Leinart's name was brought up a few times.

We are also told Paris was overheard trying to calm down the rich Greek by saying "Take it easy" and "Go home and get some sleep."

During the night, a cab came and went three times, but each time left without the shipping heir. Finally, around 8 in the morning, Stavros got in a cab and headed out.

The plot thickens as Paris and Stavros were seen out Wednesday night together and sources tell us the two wound up spending the night at her house, leaving us to wonder are they apart... or not?

Calls to Paris's rep weren't returned.

Paris ALWAYS seems like an idiot on whatever TV show gives her a chance to speak. I realize she doesn't "need" an education b/c she'll never have to work, but I feel bad that she has all the resources but likely none of the appreciation or understanding of the things in this world, such as art, history, etc. Many would kill to have the ability to, say, fly to Paris (France, everyone ), Rome, or wherever as a learning experience whenever he/she wants instead of just such trips as club-hopping ventures by someone who likely cannot find either on a map.

Then again, maybe I underestimate her. Maybe she just acts like an idiot.

Used to see them periodically in the days before they became famous . . . when they were just 'socialites' . . . they'd go to so many media parties in NYC . . . get drunk . . . don't know how they got famous as a result of it (well, Nikki actually has some talent) . . . but I will say that before they were famous, they still often ended up the talk of the office the morning after a party . . . never in a flattering way . . . but still came up . . . strange.

Ya this is when seeing ppl like her gets on my nerves. They could be doing so much but all they do is party. I have a son who is extremely intelligent and wants to go to University in the fall to be a teacher. It makes me angry when kids like him work and have to get loans to go to school and ppl like her who could do anything choose to do nothing.
