credit card question
So last year I opened a business (jan 2008) I opened my own busienss. To get credit terms with a bunch of suppliers they ran my credit (like 10 times for 10 different companies).
I currently owe about 10k on my 20k limit card. Anyways, I figure its better to have more then 1 credit card to increase my credit limit. Is it better to apply for a few cards at once? I would pull my credit but I pulled my free one last may 2008, and figure pulling it again will only hurt my score right now. Is there like a lending tree for credit cards? |

creditkarma is a good way to keep track of your credit score. afaik, it doesn't affect your credit score, but you only get it from transunion. and it's free =)
if you NEED a few more cards, it'll be easier to apply for a few at the same time, that way, they don't negatively affect each other. but, I'm not sure about business cards, but I know with personal cards, most of them are giving out new cards with a really low limit. and then, after six months, they'll expand that limit, so that may not help. |
