Well as someone that relies on the ease and overall cheap fees of Paypal, and has had a business account for years, I don't mind them. If someone better came along I may move to them. But for right now, I was really glad when they added the ability for me to send out personal money with my business account for free. As I had been hoping they would do that for a long time.
As for the guy writing the article, whether or not he saw the email or not and it read how he wanted it to read (which I'm pretty sure it explained everything clearly).. He was using Paypal to receive money against the Terms of Service anyways. If he uses his account for so many transactions in a business manner, he shouldn't have been using a personal account anyways. Personal accounts were MEANT to send money to family and friends, which was why they were FREE. And that is STILL free.

Eventually everything free, will not be. That's usually how capitalism works.
It does sound like he was misusing a personal account. And if he 'has no problem with it', why is he complaining? I think I even got the email saying this was happening, and i thought oh, well i don't really do much money moving. no big deal.
