Why did it drop by 23% today? Yeah, she's guilty, but does that really lower the business value by a fourth?

She's so closely tied to her company that anything that happens to her will affect her company. It makes sense to me.

Martha Stewart's whole empire and everything her company does is built on her image. If her image is tarnished by the ruling, that will effect her company. A few television stations have already pulled her TV show from their schedule starting monday and they are expecting a lot more will follow suit, and that's probably just the start.
