hi y'all. i wanna try to find some jobs in the DC Metro area (down to fairfax). i've been looking into policy analyst positions (i.e. national security) and would like something related to foreign affairs, education research, or human rights work. know of any jobs or places to look? so far, i've been looking at craigslist, hotjobs, monster, and usajobs.com. thanks.

Have you thought about checking all of the government websites to see their job postings, or perhaps checking the state of virginia website to see if they have anything up your alley?

I would also check in with friends who may attend local colleges who can access their schools' career center resources/contacts. I am guessing all the schools in that area are heavily recruited by organizations looking for people interested in that field of work.
