Do you guys know of any credit cards that still offer the 0% balance transfer for the life of the balance?

Sounds like you need to work on getting your debt worked down. Cut back on expenses and pay what you can. You might try contacting the various credit card companies like Capitol One or Citibank. As you are learning, credit card debt is not a good thing to have.

actually on the contrary, i have no credit card debt. I realized that i could save about 2 grand by doing one of these for my auto loan and pay that off with flexible payments.

I don't know any that have life....
I did just sign up for citibank and they have a 1 year thing. and then, about a year ago (or a little more) i did amex blue cash, and they were offering 0% for 6mths, 1yr, or 18mths depending on your credit, etc etc.

might be able to do a combination of the two to pay off over 1.5-2.5 years...probably saving a little less than 2 grand, but still saving you some money.

Good for you. Looks like everything out there is no more than 12 months. Scroll down here for a list of promotions: http://www.cardratings.com/lowrateba...editcards.html

I know the Amex blue had an 18 mo 0% interest on balance transfers when I was looking a few months ago. Not a bad idea.
