I want to form an LLC

I'm in California.

I just passed my Real Estate Broker's exam (not salesperson) - yippee?

Want to make sure to limit damages against personal property.

Suggestions?

There's quite a few online places to get one.

This one has been getting a lot of radio ad play:

Try this http://www.ss.ca.gov/business/llc/llc_faq.htm

They have all the forms, name availablity, etc. and congratulations!

Also, GKL Corporate/Search, Inc. (800) 811-9015 can answer any questions you might have for free.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. The broker's exam was a bit harder to pass. I was just looking at that link

I guess my concern is that some sites have said that with a single member LLC, sometimes the setup does not protect you from the Corporate Veil being pierced. Any comments on that would be welcome.

How do I decide between

THE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY WILL BE MANAGED BY:
ONE MANAGER
MORE THAN ONE MANAGER
ALL LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY MEMBER(S)
