Sup. I am selling playstation mod chips, not for playstation 2, but for playstation 1. They allow you to play cdr copies of psx games and imports. These are standard mod chips, not the stealth ones. That means that for some games, you may need patches to put on the games before you copy them. The reason they are not stealth is because I have had the stealth ones before and tried to install one, and it is just very hard to install them without ruining things.

These modchips are $5 a piece. I will put wire on em for $7 a piece. There is no guarantee though that the wire will stay on when they are mailed though, so I would prefer not to wire them. You can buy them from me for $5, then charge $20 or even $30 to install them. IThat's a pretty good profit if you ask me :-). I have as many as you need. Is there information on PS2 modchips? Not that I'd think of attempting to mod my PS2 until there's a more steady supply, but are there any (say, to read different region DVD's?)
