Hello all
![]() Here's what I have to offer: A mint condition Sony PCG-SR5K laptop. Quick Specs: Pentium 3 500 CPU, 64 mb RAM, 9 GB hard drive, 10.4 TFT screen, Windows 2000, 56k modem built in, over 3 hours battery life, (I kid you not!!), and less than 3 lbs!!!! pic1 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony1 pic2 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony2 pic3 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony3 pic4 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony4 pic5 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony5 pic6 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony6 pic7 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony7 pic8 http://members.home.net/hbanoub/sony8 Sony's Specs http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/support/...ok/pcgsr5k.pdf It is a refurbished model, but I assure you it is working PERFECTLY. It came to me sealed by Sony. Many savy shoppers know that refurbished models are excellent deals. The manufacturer tests these models twice, and very rigorously. Many people who've bought refurbished models say that the condition they come in is many times in better condition than new items!! (When I bought a Dell Insprion 7000 years ago, it came with 3 dead pixels, this Sony refurbished, none!!) Here's why: if something goes wrong w/ the laptop, and you send it to Sony for repairs, and they cannot fix it for whatever reason, by law they must give you a new one!!!. They cannot give you another refurbished model. Nice deal!! And this model comes w/ a 90 day warranty. Most of the times, if anything were to go wrong, it would happen within the first few weeks or so of using the laptop. And if you like, I can possibly extend the warranty to 4 years w/ my credit card company, but I'd ask you to pay for that (a surprisingly low 180 covers you for 4 years!!). In addition, many insurance plans now cover laptops. My ex dropped hers and it shattered in pieces, but she was given a brand NEW model as she had it insured w/ her father's insurance plan. I am selling this because I am blind, and did find the 10.4 screen a bit straining and tiring on my already weak eyes (-6 on both eyes!!). I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it, and as I had just bought it a week and a half ago. I'm asking $1260. Believe me if it wasn't for my crappy vision I'd love to keep this model. It's a NICE, NICE sweet looking laptop that's powerful, light, and sexy!! Please email me @ habjc@hotmail.com with any questions at all ![]() Cheers, and thanks for looking ![]() My references: http://heatware.elitehardware.com/li...ion=hanybanoub
