I'm looking to Purchase two Intel Processors between the range of 450 and 550 (PII/III Slot 1). I would prefer a Boxed CPU if possible. Otherwise I'm open to OEM or used.

I've got a pair of P3-450's (Slot 1) 512k SL35D (with fan/heatsink). These should clock to 600Mhz pretty easily (your mileage may vary). They're $115 each on Pricewatch including the heatsink, I'll sell the pair for $160 shipped.

I received these in August of last year (purchased from Egghead.com). Since that point in time, i've used them for less than a week running time. I had them in a dual motherboard setup that I disassembled to test other parts. Now I'm selling bunches of stuff off (MB's, dual MBs, CPUs, NICs, SCSI/IDE, etc), as I'm trying to clean my basement.

So relatively speaking they have little use. These particular units have never been overclocked (though I have had others from the same batch do 600 no problems), and the fans are in excellent condition. They've pretty much been sitting in my parts storage cabinet for months now.

Sounds like what I've been looking for, got a few more questions.

I wasn't planning on Overclocking them, but how long did the other ones last when you OC'd them? I don't think I can overclock them anyways, because my MB only Does 100 mhz fsb. I don't suppose you have any more of those Intel Nic's that you were selling earlier??

What the email so I can send you my info?

OC: More or less indefinitely. My girlfriend has one of my old ones (a hand-me-down) and we've had it running @600 with no problems since 9/99. My best friend Rafe also had one that he pushed a bit farther (@618Mhz, 137FSB I think) that was running for well over a year before he sold it. And this is pretty much with just a basic heatsink and fan, nothing extreme.

NICs: Nope, sorry. All sold out. It took me 7 weeks to sell 300. Leon puts a post on the deals page and sells out my remaining 80 in the time I was at work (like 6-7 hours) and I had so many orders I had to turn people awa!
