I purchased the camera on 11/5/02, you said you shipped it 11/11/02 and it's not here yet 11/18/02. You have not responded to my frequent polite attempts to get a tracking number or even the company you used to ship it.
You seem to have a decent reputation at the anandtech forums so I hope this is just a misunderstanding. Please respond.

I had just finished reading the 2 year old thread regarding this Alex Nguyen and was wondering how many people are still getting scammed by this guy?

If you have been scammed, please post any and all information you can about this guy so that other people don't fall into the same trap.

If you have any of his aliases, names, email addresses, phone numbers, user ids/other websites, mailing addresses etc etc...any correspondence from this guy.

Please post it all here and I will take all the information and forward it to my contact who helped with a Nigerian government money laundering scheme when I was running my computer business. He works for the Secret Service in NJ, but obviously has the ability to make the wheels go.

If you prefer to email this information to me i will keep a log and forward it when i feel enough information has been provided.

In the meantime, the best thing to do is file a police report with your local police and file a police report with the local police in his hometown (if you happen to know it). You can also write letters to the State Attorney General's offices and the Better Business Bureau. Contact your credit card company, bank, paypal or whomever was involved with the actual financial transaction and let them know of the situation. If you pay with your credit card directly, most of them will reimburse you the full amount if you file a claim. However, if you use your credit card to fund your Paypal.com account and then paypal the money to these scam artists, you are NOT protected by your credit card. In the future, i would highly suggest sending an American Express Money Order or something from a large financial institution that protects us, the consumers, from fraud.

Always be sure to keep copies of all your transaction information and correspondence UNTIL you have received your goods and are satisfied with the purchase.

I keep a log of everyone I have ever sent money to. I have never had any problems, except for those Nigerians who TRIED to get me to launder 25 million dollars and in return I would receive $5 million. Yeah, right.

Hundreds if not thousands of businesses are approached by these con artists a year and are drawn to the money.

Don't be fooled by the rocks that these guys got, cuz they're still *******s from the block.

Alex Nguyen, consider yourself screwed.

He keeps asking to borrow money and tries to make me feel sorry for him as if he was homeless or something. I might have some info on this guy. I need to check some old phone records for his phone #. I know this guy is from Seattle.

Note there was a rotten troll by the name of Samuel Tsegai {or Tsegazeab} that loved to using free tweak3d.net email addresses to rip people off under.

Sadly a lot of victims do give up and that is something these scumbags count on.
