the mod chip allows you to run anything that a computer can run on your xbox, and it allows you to run burned games.
so you can run:
any kind of movie file. avi. divx. xvid you name it
games. roms
music, burned or legit
you can even run linux on the xbox
and it allows you to play over the internet through tunneling with out having xbox live
check out www.xbox-scene.com they have everything you need to know about xbox mods and programs you can run on your xbox

Please give me a contact, so I can get more details on the laptop from you or you could be blunt and tell me whats wrong/missing on it.

Thanx,
-M

Missing memory

Have you looked into the missing compact flash that you sold me?
I haven't heard from you by way of email, so I thought this format would work. If that doesn't work for you, how about refunding my money. You have my address and my Paypal ID. Please let me know. So I can cancel the Paypal complaint. val777.

Follow-up. Paypal took care of what Matt could not.
Thanks to Paypal for getting my refund.
Buyers beware!!!

Just a WARNING: ApltnHkyMutt is not to be trusted in his dealings. I bought
2 ea. 256mb compact flash unit from him. They never came and he never returned the money. I went to Paypal to recover some of it, for a fee.
He is not trust worthy and he lied. Thanks for your time. Val777.

ps do a Google search on his name ApltnHkyMutt. Not very good on the moral side of the chart either.

Val777,
I sent your memory and have an eye witness who was with me. She watched me mail it to you, as for the refund you got your money, so that leaves me out of 2 cf sticks and 75$. So before you go bringing some else's name through the mud take a look in the mirror. For all we know you got the memory, but screwed me over because there was no tracking number.

oh yeah, and i almost forgot.. why dont you ask the members here who ive done business with before how they liked the transactions... i dought you will find one complaint.

Sorry, I also have a witness, Paypal. I've saved all the email from them. I also saved all the email from you.
Paypal had to take your money to pay me back, you did not pay it back willingly.
I could care less about those cf's . I do care about the lie that you told me, and the one you just told. That one just got personal.
Why don't you call the USPS, I would. If you want I'll do it for you. Your call.

val777, I still dont understand how i mailed those to you, and you never got them. Ive never had a dissatisfied customer before. I did call usps and they said the package was untraceable. if you would like to go ahead and call your self go for it. Why are you comming here 2 months later and trying to run my name into the dirt? you got your money and for all I know the memory too.

If you have anything else you want to talk about please do not post here, but rather email me.

ApltnHkyMutt: Its been known to happen packages get lost, stolen, whatever and don't arrive. Its how such a sticky situation is dealt with that reflects upon you.

Offering to refund the money and then not following through isn't good trading practice. The same goes for not responding to communication.

This raises the obvious question of why didn't you get delivery confirmation which does offer limited tracking? Remember as the seller it is your responsiblity to ensure the package get to the buyer. This is universally accepted trading practice at forums like AnandTech, PCA and many more.

Getting delivery confirmation and whatnot is not just for their benefit, but for your benefit.

Look at the hassle you've had to go through all due to the measly sum of 45 cents. Its even cheaper if done online.

The deal was $75 Shipped. No shipping option was offered. The shipping was your responsiblity.
If I shipped it 75 dollars worth of goods I always "track and insure". This is a standard practice for anyone who ships goods.

For me personally I would settle for your apology. Own the mistake and move on with your life.
But you can't do that, everytime you log on to this forum you throw one more lie or slander.
The next step belongs to you, make a wise choice.

A bit of heat/feedback for Apltn, for those of you who care. I bought Halo, it was shipped promptly via FedEx (tracking number included), and I received it today. Smooth transaction.

I requested a private carrier (UPS/FedEx) actually. For a couple of reasons... (A) the post office makes me pick up my packages from their annex if it doesn't fit in the box, and (B) I wanted a carrier that delivers to my door and makes somebody sign for it. No sense in paying $15+shipping and having it not arrive.
