Lower Price! New Raptor 74Gb HDD - $140 (incl. shipping)
I'm selling a brand new Raptor 74Gb HDD (10,000 RPM). It's the bare drive, so no cables, box, or instructions. Just the physical drive itself. It's completely new, still in its anst-static bag. I am accepting payments through Paypal. I will send the shipemt fed-ex ground once payment is received.
$155 (includes shipping) I currently don't have any rating reference for reliability. All I have is my gotapex screenname. Only contact me if you can trust me solely on that. |

Lowering price. $155 --> $140 (fedex shipping included) still brand new in anti-static packaging. |

Hmmm, I guess I could help an old GAer out and get it to have as an OS boot drive... and throw on counter-strike as well.
I can put all the other crap on my puny yet massive 7,200rpm SATAs. Would I see any performance increase in boot times or load times? |

First of all, thanks to GAM for editing the thread title.
Here are some reviews on the performance of the Raptor HDD. http://www.nvnews.net/reviews/wester...or/index.shtml http://www.3dvelocity.com/reviews/raptor/wd360gd_3.htm http://www.thetechzone.com/?m=show&id=337 It's maybe the fastest non-SCSI option today making it ideal for desktop system drives. This drive was designed for one thing only: SPEED. Last edited by ArkiStan : 09-29-2005 at 04:07 PM. |
