FS : 80 hour tivo

Purchased for $155 for college, however i'm transferring and will be moving back home. Willing to sell for $110 + $15 shipping. Can take paypal or money order.

Ebay feedback here

PM if interested.

Only thing to note is that the pic was taken before the little tivo guy fell off on the front. He can be superglued back on. I never got around to it. Knock of 25-30 by activating service by going to some guy like this (Tivo referral) or you can find similar offers on ebay.

No, no lifetime. I can guarantee an episode of Andy Milonikis was never displayed on this puppy though.

I'd like to discuss a purchase. I'm legitimitely interested in an 80-hour Tivo box, but I have a few questions. Did you use this with DirecTV? I want to hook it up with my satelite box, but I'm not technically inclined, so I want to know if that's possible/fairly easy. Under the current system, our tivo box and satellite box are one and the same. Please let me know if you have any further information....I am very interested in a possible purchase.

Ryan

It can be used with direct tv. Its not hard to setup, there are instructions in the manual that are easy to follow. Basically the tivo hangs over your direct tv box just a little, and the tivo remote talks to the tivo, which then in turn talks to the direct tv box and tells it to change the channel, ect.

So I received this item an when I opened it up what did I find? A broken unit I Think FedEx might of handled this box a bit to hard. Tivo is Smashed in from the top..... ARG

Rocket on the other hand is a great guy and I would really do business with him again!

I dont know what is more upsetting... The fact that FedEX decided to play football with the Tivo, or the fact that they left a ton of the packing material on my front lawn!!

FedEx Express is usually great with shipping; FedEx Ground/Home Delivery on the other hand...
I worked for Kinkos (now FedEx Kinkos) for almost 5 yrs. and I've seen a Ground driver throw packages in the back of his truck like they were frisbees. Meanwhile our Express driver (Mark, a really cool guy I miss since getting a new job 8 months ago) was 100% professional and "delicate" with the packages (like you'd expect).

I'm assuming this was sent via Ground because of the damage...?
Hopefully they'll work with you and replace it/refund you; you've got perfect documented proof of the item before you shipped it & after you shipped it and they got their hands on it...good luck.
